November Meeting?
Any word on a meeting for November?
What about voting for IGF Student Showcase games? Will that be at the early December meeting (they announce finalists January 12th)?
Also when might this December meeting be? I am heading out west pretty soon.

The tentative schedule for the December meeting is going to be Dec 18th. We want to try to get an earlier date. The voting for the student showcase is handled by a selected board of judges made up of industry pros. The games will be shown in the meeting to give attendees an idea of the quality of the games being produced as well as a chance to cast votes that would be used in a tie breaker situation as needed.
More information will be passed on to the mailing list in short order. Make sure that you are signed up.

actually im all for a december 18th meeting 
I am in SF till the 17th.

The 18th may or may not be a good time for me, I need to see when my finals are for my two Thursday evening classes.
Eek, that reminds me, I need to adjust my schedule so I have Thursdays free from now on. I don't want to miss any more meetings.
Because of tight schedule restrictions and the need to have an early December meeting, we are going to combine the last couple of meetings into a big single event.
