Hi,

We are reviving the Vienna IGDA Chapter and will hold the next meeting on the 16th of March 2004 starting at 19:30.

The planned agenda is:

* Report from Imagina 2004 - Jurie Horneman (Rockstar Vienna)
* "14 months in California - comparing Game developement in the US and Europe" - Markus Friedl (Sproing Interactive)
* "Porting GTA3 to the XBOX" - Thaddaeus Frogley (Rockstar Vienna)
* "Quo vadis Vienna IGDA Chapter"

We have reserved a room downstairs in the bar aQuadrat

Margaretenstrasse 55,
A-1050 Wien

which holds enough space for up to 60 people.

Please forward this mail to anybody who you think might be interested and if possible post it in your company internal forum/newsgroup.

Also, feel free to discuss any topics you would like to have covered in the future here in the forum.

Looking forward to seeing you,
Clemens

Oh... I already thought, that this chapter doesn't have any chance of surviving after such a long time of silence in here...

I'm looking forward and hope that i can join you, because tuesdays & travelling from linz to vienna and back isn't what a developers heart is looking for when he has to work the next day :>

sorry everybody for the short notice but I hope it's not a big deal if I would reschedule my talk "14 months in California - comparing Game developement in the US and Europe" to our next meeting (which will hopefully be soon.. Wink )...
there was some milestone-work to do this weekend and I didn't have a chance to prepare anything (even though I know it's not *that* formal anyways but still... totally unprepared... that's not cool)...
