soon newly grad Moving to BC -> music composer + programmer

Hello,

I have only one year left to finish my Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Acadia University (check MacLeans rankings!) here in the east coast and I also already have a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Technology.

My girlfriend is moving to Victoria for her masters degree and I am actually thinking of moving to the west coast to start my career (and pay those student loans )

What are my chances in the game business having both a music degree and a computer science degree in BC. I have been studying your site and I see there are plenty of companies are resources. I just want to hear from people as this will be my first time to live in the west coast of Canada.

Any opportunities in the Victoria area? or do I have to move to Vancouver city.

Reason why I have both degrees is because of my passion with entertainment IT! Plus I hear it is Golden to be both in music and computer science.

Looking forward to this chapter! I really appreciate any help and advice with my career decisions moving to the west.
