Alabama game companies?

Alabama is not really known for being a game development hub (no offense), but there have been some efforts/studios with some decent press in the past (e.g. Mutable Realms, etc.). Plus, with the technology base around Redstone Arsenal (in Huntsville) and multiple close universities with respectable computer science programs, I would imagine that there are a fair amount of aspiring professionals and/or indie efforts in the area.

Does anyone have a list of companies or organized efforts in the game industry with offices in Alabama? The listings on Gamasutra and other sites are fairly out of date or include too much “noise”.

If no one has one, let’s try to use this post to create an updated one. This could include fixed game development, online games, mobile games, casual games or even serious games. Here’s a start:
