a) Could you give us an example of one of your "highly experienced, multi-lingual game industry professionals"? Simply calling yourself a Game Industry Pro doesn't make it so...

b) Could you give us the the actual name of one person that you have placed so that we can independently confirm that you have in fact placed people in the past? Unnamed testimonials are, well, suspicious....

c) How many people have you actually placed in the past and to how many companies?

c) Where is your company based? Are you a member of any national or international business organizations?

Happy to provide the information

Ricardo,

Thank you for your respone.

We're a US based company, with a new office in the UK and plans for a local presence in Canada, Germany and France in mid-2006, with plans for other European countries later.

Our team is very experienced, my current mentor has over 11 years of International recruiting experience with nearly four years focussed on game industry placements. My personal experience is nearly fifteen months game industry experience with prior recruiting experience for a 3D visualization company.

With this being a general message to a public forum and our commitment to candidate confidentiality - I chose not to openly display names even if this might be perceived as 'suspicious' I will forward a number of testimonials to you privately - once you have verified the information, maybe you would be kind enough to post a general message to the community confirming the proven authenticity of our company and the true reflection of the testimonials we presented?

Regards
Ales

Follow up.........

Dear Ricardo,

I had sent you a private message requesting a good email address where I could provide the aforementioned 'testimonials' I have not received any sort of response from you. I dont wish the lack of follow on communication to be perceived by other forum members as our inability to clarify and prove our success in placing candidates. I hereby forward to you a recent (23/12/05) email transcript that our corporate office recieved from a senior candidate who was helped by AIS.

This is an exact transcript of the email response. The candidate was a Technical Director at a well known European studio, 9+ years of multi-console experience and numerous hit titles to his name. We assisted him in finding a position in Canada after he approached us for help.

Request to candidate from AIS Corporate Office:

Dear Michael,

As we try to improve our services to candidates, we like to review the performance of our internal recruiting team.
Could we ask you to write a short summary on your opinion of Mike Paddon [AIS Recruiter] and his work on your behalf in helping you find a new position.
We shall be reviewing these comments during next week in an effort to continually improve our level of competence and service:

Areas we ask you to comment on;

1)Mikes overall professional conduct and industry knowledge [response] Very Good. He gave me great advise on the direction I should pursue in my current situation.
2)Mike’s ability to find you the right type of positions [response] Mike found exactly the right position for me. Unfortunately I did get a lower position, but that’s my fault as I didn’t really perform as well as I should have in interview
3)We’re you happy with him as a recruiter [response] Completely.
4)Would you recommend him to others looking for a job [response] Definitely. I already have
5)How well did he perform compared to other recruiters you have worked with in the past [response] Much better than others.

Feel free to add any information, positive and/or negative that you would like us to know about working with our company
[response] Mike handled the situation greatly. He cared during the job search and after, by making sure I was actually taken care of by the new company. I received frequent contact from him, which as a jobseeker, made me more confident in the procedure.

Hope this feedback is helpful to you.

Michael xxxxxxxxxxx
The candidate's family name has been blanked in the interest of confidentiality. Can be proven under private circumstances. This is one of many similar responses we recieved.

Should you wish to have any further information please let me know,
