IGDA Bangkok Chapter at the Bangkok International Film Festival 2006

Just wanted to post here to PR a little about some of the events from our chapter.

The IGDA - Bangkok Chapter(IGDABKK) has been contacted by A. Kasem Lumpoon of the Thai Animation & Multimedia Association (TAMMA) regarding an invitation to share a booth at the Bangkok International Film Festival (http://www.bangkokfilm.org). After discussions with the local chapter, we have planned to set up the booth on the theme “Overview of the Game Development Industry In Thailand” in which we aim to provide a quick overview of the games, company, indie studios, independent developer works, and other interesting facets of the game development industry in Thailand in an unbiased way to visitors and guests of the festival that are mostly in the movie industry. In the festival we plan to show video presentations of different organizations, distribute flyers (Company/Organization/Developer Profile) and contact information for inquiring visitors if they are interested in certain organizations.

We would be at booth #72 at Siam Paragon Hall 2 (5th Floor) at the Bangkok Film Market from February 20-24, 2006. For more information contact A. Pisal S.(contact details is in my profile).
