Unofficial beer?
Due to a lack of official meetings, and my unquenchable thirst for beer, how many members fancy a drink in London to mull over the state of the industry, games, and life in general.
Since most of us only check these boards occasionally I suggest a date waaaay into the future; July 2nd. We can also celebrate the smoke free pubs.
Who's with me?

I was thinking of suggesting this too! I'd be more than up for it! Would be good to see everyone again and meet some new people.

Since the official venue isn't confirmed (and we haven't a London meeting of any description for a while 
) I'll bump this thread occasionally in case the official meet doesn't materalise.
(Official venue for the unofficial meeting would be the usual O'Neils Irish Bar. 73-77 Euston Rd at 7.00pm, BTW. Open to all, IGDA members or not )

The venue has been announced now, but like I said, unofficial meetings are a great idea and I'll certainly try to attend them.
Just to confirm, is this still going ahead?

Despite the success of last night (well done guys!), or perhaps because of it, we're still having an unofficial beer next Monday.
Well... *I'm* going to be there having a beer anyway For those that don't know me I'll be the one that looks like a geek in an IGDA T-shirt.
It was a nice little gathering. Was glad to see a few people that I hadn't seen in ages!

So, what time are we starting? And, are we getting our own "special" room as usual or are we bothering the regular patrons in the bar proper?
I should arrive sometime around 7pm (tubes permitting)
