I think the last meetup was pretty fun, but what did you think? How can we make it better?

Some thoughts, both mine and gathered from talking to people:
-the venue is pretty expensive for food
-maybe some sort of formal activity is good, an ice breaker
-some way for people to meet more easily
-bring back the lecture series
-???

It was my first IGDA event and I had a lot of fun chatting with folks. Thanks for organizing.

Venues probably get less expensive the further you get from downtown, but then they are harder to get to.

21st Amendment down on 2nd closer to the ball park has good beer and food, and an upstairs that might be a good place to take over. Prices are a little cheaper I believe.

The Chieftan is cheaper still and has trivia nights that are fun. http://www.thechieftain.com/ The food is decent and not too pricey. Good beer selection.

Gordon Biersch might work too.

Those places are close to Bart and/or Muni.

How was the turnout the last time around? You think we could increase attendance if I promised to bring a Sony employee for everyone to beat up on?

Is the SF Chapter going to have any upcoming events?

I could host

I would love to host a small get together at my place in Berkeley. How many people usually attend?

Did you get any other replies to that? Is there going to be a meeting soon? If so I'm definitely interested!

No response

I didn't get any response on my last post, but we seem to have a new site. I'd check there...
