Meeting request

I just attended the PAX "Breking into the industry" confrence on Friday and got some really good info. I was just curious what the odds are at one of the future meetings we can get some discussions on Portfolios and 3D Artist info. I am trying to break in as a 3D Artist but am not having any luck. I would love to get a chance to meet with some art directors to get there input on what kind of models and how to display said models to get noticed. Most my work has been low poly so I am wondering if thats why I am not getting to many interestred companies.

I just thought I would drop an Idea I really wanna do 3D modeling for games but with out a shipped title I can not seem to get my foot in the door. And game testing is out of the question since I have to pay rent and bills its just to low of pay and to random of a schedule.
