Ok...I finally convinced my boss that having a LAN party is a good way for team building. So I am looking for the best free easy to learn FPS to present to him.
Which one do you think I should choose?
I am thinking America's Army

Warsow?

Basically Quake deathmatch, might be easier to pick up for newbies than AA.
Oh wait, just re-read the op. Probably not a good idea to bring a deathmatch/ffa shooter to a *team building* event.

Maybe this one might suit you?

Check it out.

America's Army perhaps, I've never played it myself. I tried a few tactical "realistic" FPS games, and they are not very easy - most new players (me included) get lost, killed a lot, and don't really "get it". Ain't too much fun.
You might want to try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It's team based, and is entirely free, and has less "realism", and might be easier on those who have never played an FPS before.
There are not many other free ones. Even mods require the original game, and for LAN copies that means multiple copies of the game. The source of older LAN games might have been released, but you'd need to play OpenQuake (?) or whatever to have actual textures and maps.
