Hello.
I need some help in gauging what a 2-years experienced, 1 completed console title, and had leadership roles, game programmer can expect in terms of salary in SFO?
How much amount of money should you expect to spend for renting a place that's for enough to sleep, to do bathroom stuff, and prepare food?

Hi there! Thanks for asking... it is a difficult question indeed, as the salary offered will vary wildly depending on if you are talking to a small studio or a large publisher. Also, are you being offered moving expenses, bonuses, or a stock option plan?
In broad strokes I'd suggest that San Francisco area salaries tend to be ~20% higher than in most other places in the U.S. Unfortunately, rents and mortgages will make up for that difference for ya
