Dont meen to be a bother but for some reason I cant see many threads, post, etc. Most likely im just missing some information. Is there a restriction to the forums for new users or free accounts.

I don't think it is your account. Try changing the last dropdown box (under the posts) from "last 30 days" to one of the options farther down.
This forum is not terribly active (most ppl working).
But, there are people who drop in from time to time...can always post-n-wait.
