UMBC's Digital Entertainment Conference
Hi,
My name is Lesa Wilcox and I'm the current president of UMBC's Game Developer's Club. Every year we hold an annual event called the Digital Entertainment Conference (DEC). This event is for college students, high school students, and anyone interested in the game industry. We have had speakers in previous years from Breakaway, Firaxis, Day 1, and Big Huge Games.
Currently I am trying to secure speakers for our event. Specifically I'm looking for artists, producers, music designers, or technical artists. If you are interested or know of anyone that might be interested in speaking could you please let me know.
Tentatively, DEC is scheduled for Saturday April 25 from 10am - 6pm. We hope to have five speakers from different disciplines. There is unfortunately no monetary reimbursement for speaking, however, we do have a luncheon for all the speakers.
