Hi guys,

Just wanted to post a project I'm working on with a friend of mine called Project Aftershock which is multiplayer co op racing game. Still in its early stages as we have yet to include gameplay elements to it. However we've posted some screenshots here at Flickr:

And a roundabout video tour of the first track work in progress (flash 9 and above required to play this youtube vid):

Rendering engine used : Ogre3d
3D package: Blender3d
2D package: GIMP

We have been posting updates on the Ogre3d forums for some time now at:

Congratulations, this is a huge accomplishment so far. Coming from a fledgling southeast nation myself, this is really inspiring stuff.

2 man team, and open source software...color me impressed.

Looking good! Too bad the screenshots are so small!

By the way your names seem familiar. I think I might have met you before in 2006 IPCC. Were you guys pitching as well? Under Minimax interactive or something?

Hi guys,

Thanks for taking the time to check out our work.

Snowfly: Open source software has come a very long way and getting more powerful with each iteration because of its huge community support.

chaudan: Yeah flickr resizes all images to 1024x640 max. I think you may have met my partner L3ft_hand before when he was still in Minimax and no I've never applied for the 2006 IPCC, this is pretty much our first collaboration together. Smile
