game dev group
hi i'm relocating to the triangle area in a few weeks and was wondering if there are any game development groups in the area that actively meet and work on game projects in their spare time. if such a group meets please let me know. i am looking to program a game in my free time after work and learn more about game programming and development.
Hey GC, my wife and I actually relocated to Raleigh a couple weeks ago. I would love to work on a game but only have a little Direct3D experience (some shaders, haven't used X models yet) at this point.

I know at LEAST three 3D artists that would be interested in this! Lets breathe some life back into these igda boards and set something up!

since it appears there isn't really a group like this let me know if this is something you are interested in. i would like to form a small group of programmers and artist that would like to create a game in their spare time. i will be located in downtown raleigh so if you live in or near downtown and would like to get togther a few times a week to work on a game let me know.
