X360 and PS3 test-kits - migration between companies?
Dear IGDA members,
We're currently investigating about the possibility of "migrating" some of our X360 and PS3 test-kits to another companies with the status of licensed developer/publisher for Sony or Microsoft.
Basically, we currently have too many test-kits in our QA Lab, and thought that somebody might be interested in taking them over, for his/her company.
Do you possibly have any experience in performing such equipment migration and if so, would you be so kind to provide some tips on how should we do it?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I'm aware of this. What I'm talking about is migrating the test-kits to another studio, which is a licensed developer interested in taking them over. The migration itself is not prohibited by Microsfot nor Sony - it's acutally possible to re-register a unit for another company, if you request this to your account manager.

It is my understanding that test kits are licensed from Sony/Microsoft not sold. As such they can't be resold to another company. You should check your publisher/developer agreement carefully and/or talk to your account manager before you proceed.
