Code-a-thon 2009

Nanyang Polytechnic is organising Code-a-thon 2009. We would like to invite you and your students to this competition. This year, Code-a-thon 2009 will be held in conjunction with Singapore Youth Olympic Games' "Digital Media" Marquee Event.

Code-a-thon 2009 is a computer game development competition where participating teams are given 30 hours to develop their games. Each team can have up to a maximum of 5 members. Participants are expected to produce a game demo, based on the provided theme (will be announced on the day of the competition), using C/C++, C# or Java. During these 30 hours, developers are expected to stay and develop their games on-site. The competition will be held on 10-11 July.

The winning teams will be awarded attractive prizes including consoles and cash prizes. The best game demos from the competition will be showcased at prominent games website(s). Judging will be conducted by representatives from leading game companies in Singapore.
