Some Advice

Hey Mehdi,

I was just looking over your portfolio today and thought I'd point out some things you want to think about.

First and foremost, I love the website.  The identity and colors are really well done.  Navigating through it on the other hand is a little too difficult and clunky.  Its not easy to find your work and viewing is a little slow.

As for your work, I love alot of your stuff.  I think you should seriously comb through it and pick out your VERY BEST and only host that content.  There are some really good shots, but you mix them in with other renders and stills that aren't truly highlighting your strengths.  Those props that you modelled came out fantastic, for instance.  The Doom Marine, conversely, wasn't all that impressive and added nothing to what you've established with the other characters that you did.

Only showcase your best stuff and trim some of the fat so that people viewing your portfolio don't have to sift through sand to find the diamonds.

Same goes for the animation section.  If you want to render video to demo how a skinned model stretches, be sure to do it with a nice little sequence of well crafted movement and coreography.  The simple one off shots of a character moving arms and legs just doesn't make me say WOW.

Evan Brown
