Virtual Shopkeepers?

I'm writing an article honoring some of the best shopkeepers in video games, but I could use some ideas. I have Resident Evil 4's merchant, Fallout 3's Moira Brown, MGS4's Drebin 893, and Diablo's Wirt. The shopkeeper can be from any game, across any platform/genre/release date, the only requirement is they must be a character in the game the player interacts with.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
We had some shopkeepers in the "D&D Heroes" game that we did for the XBox. I don't remember the details since it wasn't a system I worked on but I've got a copy of the strat guide if you want me to provide more details. One of our shopkeepers had a rather larger role at the end of the game.
This isn't to say that our shopkeepers were all that great but since you're looking for ideas I thought I'd mention them.
Scott Elson

That would be great, I'd really appreciate any help if you find the time. I've never played a D&D game so I'd love to get that in the article!

How about the first tavern/inn person from the ps2, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance? I think she was the most provocative shopkeeper I've seen in a game yet. Her near constant state of "motion" made you want to revisit that shop over and over. At least it did for me anyway. Just throwing out my thought, hope it helps.

I immediately think of Zelda, there are many shopkeepers in the series but the ones that jump to mind are from ocarina of time:
BigGoron (not a shop as such but you get biggoron's sword from him)
The Witch who collects Poes by the drawbridge
Happy Mask Shopkeeper
