IGDA Manila open board meeting

Hi guys,

So it looks like we've been doing ok so far, and we've had two well attended events, and some casual get togethers.

But I realize that we could be doing better, and that the board won't have all the answers to your needs. On that note, I'd like to announce that we'll be having an open board meeting this September, where any member of IGDA or even people interested in joining can come and share their thoughts on how we can make IGDA Manila better.

Topics that might be discussed are: how to stimulate the IGDA forums, long term plan for submitting a game to an international competition, and a forum on game development with the help of the Ayala Foundation. Details are below:

Date: September 12th, 2009

Time: 2PM

Venue: Same as always, Exist tech bar in Ortigas

5th flr Orient Square, F. Ortigas Jr. road (formerly Emerald Ave.)

Note: The Exist Tech bar is not a "bar" per se. When you get to the building just tell the guard you're going to exist on the 5th floor. We'll post signs too.
