Tips on design analysis pspers?

Before I enter game design school in about three years, I plan to make a portfolio of coherent essays analyzing both mainstream and indie games. These papers formally tell the game's concepts, foundations, aesthetics, design, history of the development, technological structure and more (depending on the game specifically). Short papers about 2-3 pages long with personal insight. A critique per-se with backed up examples and predictions.

My overall goal for this portfolio is to create a essay about every week having about 150 games reviews by the time I enter school. Ideally, maybe even distributing condensed versions of those reviews as videos, comics or other interactive media but nothing too colloquial or too formal.

Now my experience is minimal other than the pages upon pages of journals and notes I have taken on the industry for the past few year. Please, I would like some tips for developing such a portfolio. I have a flexible guideline for my essays and have determined my potential audience but any advise would be very appreciated.
