I think its great we made a list of game developers in India. Would it be worthwhile to make a list of game publishers in India(i.e. a list of global as well as local publishers within India).

Would this even be a worthwhile thing to compile?

It would be very useful to someone who is looking to get games published in India! I for one, would find it very useful. I think Zapak has started publishing games, and I am sure there are more.

publish games? as in distro and stuff? online distro or bricks and motar? and what platforms?

I don't think there are any major publishers in India that do publishing for games apart from Mobile or Web platforms.
