GameX Industry Summit call for volunteers

Hi, everyone!

I hope you are all doing super well!

I have a request/favor. We are one week away from GameX, and it's shaping up beautifully! However...

We only have 6 volunteers, and we need about 20. These volunteer gigs are a sweet deal. You work 2 shifts, each 4 hours long. The shifts basically involve moving speakers to and from sessions (while talking with them!!), and checking at the session doors for industry passes.

here's what you get:

1. Time to hang with the speakers (big networking chance).
2. Free pass to GameX Industry Summit (which costs $85).

Here's the last thing:

You know that Tristin, Hardi, and I are some of the head honchos for VGI Philly. We have poured a ton of work into this summit to get PHilly on the map, to get studios interested in coming here. We have Crytek coming to check out Philly, we have state and city officials coming to network with EA and other publishers.

If our local IGDA chapter doesn't show up in force, and committed, that's going to look like we're a bunch of uncaring lazy people. And, I know that we're *not*... we have passion, drive, and we want to have AAA and mid-level studios here in Philly!

And, this is one of the ways we can show our support. Please, please, help Tristin, Hardi, and I (and the rest of VGI PHilly) with this. Volunteer, do a couple of shifts, show the incoming studios that Philly *wants* them to set up shop here!

Help us make this the most talked about summit of the year! Give us 8 hours of your time, and help the Philly area grow the video game industry here!
