IGDA Advisory: Seven Game

It has come to our attention that the Seven Game school in Brasil has been using the IGDA name and brand on scholarships provided to their students. To be absolutely clear, the IGDA is no way affiliated with the Seven Game school and is not providing scholarships to students at this school. In August 2012, we reached out to the director of Seven Game in an attempt to resolve the matter, however Seven Game has yet to respond.

The Rio de Janeiro chapter of the IGDA likewise has no affiliation with Seven Game (see their official statement here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/igda-rio/comunicado-oficial-igda-rio-seven/282413398456394). If you see suspicious actions such as this and wish to alert the IGDA and/or confirm the validity of IGDA-sponsored activities and events, please contact the IGDA board at board@igda.org.

É de nosso conhecimento que a escola Seven Game no Brasil tem utilizado o nome e marca da IGDA para fornecer bolsas de estudos aos seus alunos. Gostaríamos de esclarecer e deixar absolutamente claro que a IGDA não possui qualquer afiliação com a escola Seven Game e não está fornecendo bolsas para os alunos desta escola. Em agosto de 2012, nós tentamos estabelecer contato com o diretor da Seven Game para resolver essa questão, mas até o momento Seven Game ainda não se pronunciou.

Da mesma forma, o capítulo do Rio de Janeiro (IGDA Rio) também não possui qualquer afiliação com Seven Game (vide pronunciamento oficial em: https://www.facebook.com/notes/igda-rio/comunicado-oficial-igda-rio-seven/282413398456394).
