2012 IGDA Wisconsin Meeting Dates

In 2012, IGDA Wisconsin will switch to a monthly meeting format. In every month except April, the chapter will meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7 PM at Madison Media Institute. The chapter will continue to hold a special meeting at the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee in March, and skip an April meeting date.

IGDA Wisconsin New Officers

The nominating period for new chapter officers of IGDA Wisconsin has ended. Since only one candidate was nominated for each position, there will be no elections.

Industry veteran Keith Fuller will take the reins as chapter president. Returning as chapter treasurer is Ray Ratelis from Guild Software, and Jason Compton resumes duties as chapter secretary.

Keith will introduce himself to the chapter soon.

Nominations for the IGDA Wisconsin board are closed, meaning the polls are now open.  Registered members of IGDA Wisconsin may vote. If you are an IGDA Wisconsin member whose account is not assigned to the Wisconsin group, please contact us immediately. Voting ends March 13 at 11:59 PM.

Candidate information is below. Voting is conducted through the IGDA Wisconsin portal.

When you have finished browsing and selecting candidates for IGDA Wisconsin, be sure to vote in the IGDA national board election, ending soon!

IGDA Wisconsin Call For Board Nominees

Reminder: Nominations for chapter board members are still being accepted through Tuesday, February 16th. This is your opportunity to become more involved with the direction and content of IGDA Wisconsin. All three board positions are up for one-year election.

Please send a nominating statement of no more than 400 words, describing yourself and your goals for the position (choose one only, please) and the chapter, and a photo  (optional) to Ray Ratelis.

President: Ultimate responsibility for chapter operations, with an emphasis on promoting participation and attracting outside presenters.

Secretary: Chapter communications, including meeting coordination and minutes.
