IRON DEV - our next game on session invites YOU to put your work in front of industry veterans - if you are serious about game design, don't miss this opportunity - either to get feedback or just to watch how our panel review designs ...
HOW to enter:
1) Before the event - if you are absolutely sure you will be bringing something to put in front of our panel you can BOOK a space by messaging me via our facebook group
2) During the event - you can take a chance and bring your work to the event itself - but do be aware - we have two hours - 10 minutes per item - that is ONLY TWELVE SLOTS

An Audience with Syd Mead - Visual Futurist
The artist behind some of the most iconic science fiction films of this era, including Blade Runner, Aliens and Tron, Syd has amassed an amazing body of work during his 55 year career and influenced generations of designers.
There will be a screening of "Visual Futurist: The Art and Life of Syd Mead," followed by a presentation by Syd and a Q&A session. Entry is free so register your place for this event.

aussie developers in app store top charts
Apple have released a list of the iPhone / iTouch App Store's ten best sellers for 2009, and amongst the huge publishers (EA Games, Gameloft) and well known licenses (Need for Speed, Sims, Assassins Creed etc) listed in it is the recently GDAA Awards celebrated title, Flight Control, by Melbourne developer, Firemint. It takes out the number #7 best selling title position, just behind Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles.
