Intended Audience

The intended audience of the Online Games White Papers includes independent game developers and development studios without significant business and technology resources, which plan to create online games. The Papers also serve as a reference to all those interested in the online game space.

Scope

In 2004-2005, three White Papers are being produced, on the subjects of Web/Downloadable Games, Persistent World Games, and Wireless Games. They include information about online games played through the Internet via PCs and video game consoles (e.g., PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube), and mobile/wireless devices. Additionally, these White Papers provide online games case studies and reference resources.
