Global Game Jam (Ottawa) - First Call for Participation

Carleton School of Information Technology will once again host the Global Game Jam, on January 29-31, 2010, as part of the Carleton Game Day series of events.

GGJ is an international event held in more than 70 sites all over the world. In a Game Jam, artists, programmers, and designers come together to make video games. Each participant works in a small team on a complete game project over the course of a weekend.

Registration is required and must be done by sending an email to Ali Arya (arya [at] carleton.ca).

Forming groups will happen during the first hours of the jam, although you may talk to your friends and have an idea of who will be in your group. You will be informed of the general theme and requirements of the game to make at the start of the jam.
