Next Meeting Announced - April 8th, 2008 at 6:30 PM

The next meeting of the Philly Chapter of the IGDA will be on Tuesday April 8th, 2008 starting at 6:30 PM.

The meeting will take place on campus at the University of Pennsylvania in Levine Hall room 101.
Agenda:

  • 6:30 - 7:00 -- Reception and networking 1st Floor lobby of Levine Hall (outside of Levine 101)


Featured presentations begin at 7 PM in Levine 101 (aka Wu & Chen auditorium):
  • 7:00 - 715 -- welcome, chapter business, and introduction of guest speakers

  • 7:15 - 8:00 -- Jason Della Rocca, Executive Director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) presenting "At Least 10 Reasons Why the Games Industry Doesn't Suck"

  • 8:00 - 8:15 -- Intermission and resume drop

  • 8:15 - 9:00 -- Coray Seifert, Associate Producer THQ's Kaos Studios NYC, presenting "How To Break Into the Games Industry"

  • 9:00 - 9:30 -- Corvus Elrod, Owner Zakelro Story Studio, presenting "The Art of Self Promotion"

  • 9:30 - 10:00 -- QA, wrap-up, and more networking


PLEASE NOTE THE ROOM: The meeting will take place on the FIRST FLOOR of Levine Hall in room 101. This is NOT the same room we have been using these past several months.
