The IGDA Philadelphia 1st Annual Summer Picnic was absolutely increadble! We can not thank you all enough for coming out. This year we chose to hold our picnic at FDA park in south Philadelphia. We were able to really have a great time all day together and it was really great to have an opportunity for our group to really get a chance to get to know one another more personally, relax and just have a good time together!

Some of the highlights included; WMMR radio coming out to hang and give away tons of FREE STUFF, tons of awesome food brought fantastic members and the amazing sandwich spread from our very own local South Philly deli, Chickie’s Italian Deli, lots of games to play and great people to chill in the grass under a tree with and talk game dev. This picnic was nothing less than a perfect day! The kick ball game was truly the most epic game of kick ball ever and will never ever be forgotten! I think we will all be preparing for next year rematch!

We can’t thank you all enough for coming, bringing food, bringing games and for being a part of the awesomeness. Our devoted and passionate members here in Philly are what made this event so incredibly fun and they the heart and sole of Philly IGDA.
