Update from Chair re: Chapter Chartering & July Meeting
The following is a letter from the Chair of Philadelphia IGDA:
Happy First day of Summer!!
It is my pleasure to announce that the Philadelphia Chapter of the IGDA is officially chartered!! The leadership team has been working hard on this for the last few months and I want to give a big Thank You to Tristin for getting the ball rolling on this. I'm hoping to be able to release a copy of the bylaws that we have adopted soon. Being chartered will allow us to move forward on a lot of new initiatives and will also allow us to have our own bank account and get sponsors! More info will be released on these as it happens. If you or your studio are interested in being a sponsor please let me know.
The other news we have is about the July meeting, the leadership team has decided to cancel the chapter meeting in July due to several different reasons. We will return August 7th for our next meeting. Note that the July Leadership meeting will still take place and notes will be released.
