Tired of settling for Catan? Spending your days dreaming of Minecraft macaroni and cheese (and dice)? Now's your chance to do something about it. Sign up for the Board Game Jam and spend a day designing and constructing the most amazing board game the world has ever seen. We provide the supplies, you supply the talent.
After the Jam, judges and fellow board gamers will play your game during Game Night!

- 6pm-7pm for demos
- 7pm-10pm for game night
- 10pm-10:15pm for wrap up

Please show up a little early so we can get everything started on time.
Place: Schell Games
2313 E Carson St. Pittsburgh, PA 15203
Schell Games is located on the 2nd floor. Street parking is available.
Admission: $10 for Jammers, $5 for Judges (pay at the door). All proceeds will go towards food and supplies for the Jam. Any extra will go into the PIGDA piggy bank for future events.
Details: Jammers are welcome to form their own teams of 1-3 players in advance. No specific skills are required -- just a love of board games.
Laptops are recommended, but not required. A black and white printer will be available for public use (within reason). A set of basic construction materials (cardboard, writing materials, game pieces, dice, etc.) will be provided. A supply list will be posted in the coming weeks. You can bring any other materials you want (ie, card sleeves, legos, rare earth metals)
Food and drink will be provided for jammers and judges.
A secret game theme will be revealed at the start of the Jam.
Jammers will get to take home their games after the event.
