Board Game Jam- Q & A

Several people have asked some questions about the details of the Board Game Jam on May 1st. Here are the answers!
Q: Can I bring my own materials?
A: Absolutely.  You can bring whatever you want.

Q: Really?  Anything I want?  What about a 3D printer?
A: Yes, you can bring anything.  3D printer, catamaran, snuggie, it's all
legal.

Q: Can I bring in design notes?
A: This is strongly discouraged.  The idea is that you're building something
from scratch.  You are welcome to bring written or other materials that will
help you, just preferably not game design plans or ready-made art assets.

Q: I just want to play the games during Game Night.  Do I have to be a
judge?
A: Nope, you are welcome to just play the games if that is what you want.
However, being a judge just means filling out a brief survey with a few
scales on it after each game.  Easy peasy.

Q: Do I have to sign up in order to attend or can I just show up?
A: We will not reject anyone who shows up and wants to participate, but
registering ahead of time will help us gauge how much food and gaming
materials to plan to get.
