[Internet Archive] Simon Carless with "GameSetVideo Treasures" And The Internet Archive's Videogames Collection
Simon Carless who curates the Internet Archives Videogame collection, has started posting his GameSetVideo Treasures, and has currently posted about Dreamworks' Neverhood EPK, and Making Of Ultima X. The second is one I've watched, and it is very interesting to see the final game a studio works on before being disbanded, and what they think will make people want to play it.
I will likely start to post what gets uploaded in its entirety to the archive each week, although the collection has a list of recent updates and RSS feed itself, I hope I can say what's worth watching or is interesting to view.
Thanks to Simon for all his work at the IA, and doing the column which will be much more informative then my updates on content! A collection of (currently) 28 interviews, 1,110 speed runs, 81 pieces of game footage and shows, 2,196 adverts and previews, and 167 replays of games is a huge amount of material, but a mere fraction of what is possible to archive - if you can donate any video files related to videogames, please contact either of us, and we'll be happy to help.
