Game experience may change during online play
The Associated Press reports that a man being charged with child molestation originally met his victim through Xbox Live.
In a shocking development, absolutely no lawsuits were immediately filed against Microsoft or any game developers or publishers.
Mini-topic for discussion: What responsibility do online developers have to protect children from predators, and what (if anything) can be done to minimize the chances of something like this happening again? Or, should we consider it a victory already won, in that it happens so rarely that it's big news when it DOES happen?
