Link of the Day - The XShox Controller
Today's Link
Disclaimer: The IGDA SiG SIG does not recommend or condone shocking yourself with a hacked video game controller.
Proving that games can smack you as much as they can vibrate you, the XShox controller is a project just waiting for gullible friends. Removing the force-feedback motor in an XBox controller and replacing it with a bug zapper, the XShox produces a shock whenever the controller would normally vibrate. Not only was this the same idea used for the SexBox, the XShox could easily be used as an "attention-getting" interface to something like Second Life to make sure your virtual significant other isn't zoning out.
