Teledildonics on CNN

People all across the world learned a new word when CNN recently reported on teledildonics in their article: Future sex gizmos: Reach out and touch someone.

"What is very likely to be present before 2016 would be a multi-sensual experience of virtual sex," said Julia Heiman, director of the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction at Indiana University, Bloomington.

"There is a possibility of developing erotic materials for yourself that would allow you to create a partner of certain dimensions and qualities, the partner saying certain things in that interaction, certain things happening in that interaction."

khac.jpg

Japanese sex toy shop Pop Life Department M's are selling a Kingdom Hearts Branded "Rabbit" vibrator. The vibrator comes in a silver, reflective color that may or may not have something to do with the game.

I just have no idea what to say here.

Wired: Games That Get Your Groove On

Wired has an article up that discusses sexual uses of hardware in video games, Games That Get Your Groove On.

Inspired by Nintendo Revolution's innovative design, the video-game industry has given a lot of thought recently to new ways of interacting with games. But a revolution is already underway -- it's somewhat hush-hush and its tools offer more immersive gameplay for players across the globe. No, they're not the offshoots of some top-secret technology: They're video-game sex toys.

The Sex SIG's own Kyle Machulis of slashdong.org is featured.
