Because the first Thursday of July was Canada Day, we had our social event the day before.  It was a pretty good turn out, with lots of old faces and a few newcomers too.   We were also pleased to see a few people we hadn't seen in awhile (Welcome back Kim, and we hope that script is flying along).  For new faces, there was a venture capitalist amongst us.  I promptly borrowed 20 bucks from him and hit him up for drinks all night.

I joke of course.

Please offer up a hearty congratulations to our Chapter President, Josh Druckman of Brainbox Games, who was married just recently.  And not to his work.  We wish Josh and Laura all the best.
