What: Games Plus Life: Using Games to Improve Our Lives

As game developers, we understand how interactivity differentiates games from other mediums of entertainment, like books and film. As a medium that asks us to "do" rather than just "see", games have potential to go beyond entertainment and impact us in deeper ways; their addictive qualities can be used to help motivate us to improve our lives in ways we've previously struggled to do.

Who: Mark Baxter, VP of Product & Creative at Vivity Labs, is a pioneer in the realm of "lifestyle gaming" who looks forward to playing a game where he loses 10 pounds while slaying hordes of zombies. Mark hopes someone in the audience can help make this a reality.
