4. For major editing or writing
If you choose to write or revise sections for the wiki:
- Find a section you feel comfortable writing about.
- Make sure you refer to the "History" and "Talk" tabs (found at the top of the wiki page) and see what the previous edits were like and if there are any plans for future editing outlined by the Section Editors for that section.
- For the Section you're interested in writing for -- make sure you refer to the list of 2006 White Paper Section Editors. If you have any big plans for this section, it's strongly advised that you contact this Editor to let them know about your idea.
- Sometimes the Section Editors will have blocked out certain sections that need attention -- look for places which might say "needs content here" or look like they need to be fleshed-out.
- Do NOT use the wiki as a promotional tool for your business. This is not the purpose of the White Paper.
- Don't forget to summarize any changes you made.
