Are you interested in meeting others interested in game accessibility? Are you interested in meeting other game developers with disabilities? Or are you interested in both? Then join us for the first annual Game Accessibility and Developers with Disabilities Group Gathering!
This is a great opportunity to meet, face-to-face, those you’ve been in contact with via the IGDA accessibility forum, the mailing list, and our frequent online meetings. Haven’t yet had a chance to get involved? Find out at the gathering how you can connect throughout the year with others dedicated to making mainstream games more accessible and making the games industry workplace a friendlier place for developers with disabilities.
[edit] Audience
This gathering is targeted towards game designers interested in accessibility issues, as well as game developers who have disabilities. Anyone with an interest in game accessibility is welcome to attend!
[edit] Takeaway
Those attending this gathering should come away having made invaluable contacts working in the field of game accessibility and a sense of community and support from having met other developers with disabilities.
