[edit] Current Status
- I've written to Alexis about sitting down and interviewing him. - Richard
- Be glad to [handle the actual interview so there's no conflict of interest]. Been a tech journalist for many years. - Stephen Jacobs
- I just got off the phone with Alexis, and he's amenable. I'll write up a cheat sheet on what his role is, etc., and then I'll get you his email address, Stephen. - Richard
- Article has morphed into a proposed 2500 word piece for Game Developer featuring interviews with Alexis and a few other writer friendly execs at other developers. - Stephen Jacobs
- I sent an e-mail out to the list before E3 asking members for input on who else should be interviewed but haven't heard back from anyone on the list. Have my own ideas of who else to talk to but would like for hear suggestions from SIG members as well. - Stephen Jacobs
- Proposed article will also feature some members of the SIG in a sidebar including Mary Demarle, Richard Dansky and one or two others. - Stephen Jacobs
- Article proposal has taken this direction in Discussion with Game Developer's new editor. A decision was made to firm up the outline of the piece and begin interviews after E3. Hope to move forward early next week. - Stephen Jacobs
- Article originally slotted for September Issue, Moved to November. Chris Bateman and Richard Dansky saw the draft and made some suggestions I incorporated. I should see a .pdf proof from GD Mag at the end of the month for approval before its published. - Stephen Jacobs
