David Gaider, Drew Karpyshyn, Luke Kristjanson and Peter Thomas won this award this year for writing in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Ideally we could persuade the developer and publisher to advertise the game in connection with winning this award (in much the same way that Oscar winners promote their films).

Since Star Wars: etc. also won Game of the Year, it might be an uphill battle. An alternative might be to try the same with the nominees (Beyond Good & Evil, Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon, Deux Ex: Invisible War and Fire Emblem).
