These are the resources for adding and maintaining the memorial pages.

[edit] Adding a memorial

The first step is to make a page in the person's name. On the Memorials page, edit it and under "Recent memorials" add a new link in this format:

* [[/First Last|First Last]] ''(d YYYY-MM-DD)''

Then save the page.

Secondly, go to the Alphabetical page, and add in the correct place (alphabetically based on surname) a link like this:

* [[Memorials/First Last|First Last]] ''(d YYYY-MM-DD)''

This allows people to find it once the main page gets recent memorials removed.

Click on either link to create the memorial page to create the entry.

To standardise some of the information on memorial pages, it is recommended to use the memorial example template.

[edit] Maintaining comments

These should always go in the comments section. There is no need for limits on comment length and there is no reason why the IGDA wiki cannot host appropriately sized pictures.
