Rating and Censorship/Console Manufacturers

Currently, all the Console Manufacturers have policies regarding videogame ratings. Here, you will be able to find information about the limitations and restrictions they have imposed on the use of ratings, and some historical information on any previous similar policies in the past. There may be additional notes on region restrictions, and for Microsoft notes on their Windows initiatives such as "Games for Windows". Note that for general PC releases, there is no licenser so no policy.
Information on each manufacturers page is considered international unless noted otherwise.
