Daniel James is the CEO and co-founder of Three Rings, developers of Puzzle Pirates, Bang! Howdy and the open-source 'make your own game' platform Game Gardens.

Daniel has been a member of the IGDA and its precursors for approximately ten years. He is a member of the Online_Games_SIG Steering Committee, and edited and/or contributed to the The Persistent Worlds White Paper which is now transitioning to the wiki here He is a regular speaker at GDC, E3, Austin Game Conference and other events, where he can often be seen wearing a Pirate hat.
