In order to make a biography "stick" on Wikipedia, a clear case needs to be made that the individual is famous enough to be encyclopedic.

For detailed Wikipedia guidelines, check the Wikipedia policy page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people) . But for a quick summary:

  • Has this person been written about in any major press? Has anyone written a book about them?
  • Has this person written any books or articles, that have been read by more than 5,000 people?
  • Has this person been one of the primary individuals behind the creation of a major game?
  • Has this person won any major awards?

If the answer to all of the above questions is "No," then it's probably not a good idea to make a Wikipedia bio on them yet, but there are other places where their bio may be appropriate.
