Teen girls got game

A belated but heartfelt shout-out to Teen People magazine. The Video Game Zine section of their January 2006 issue featured two articles about young female gamers and game makers. In "She Majors in Videogames" the magazine profiled Brittany Aubert, an 18-year-old gamer studying game development at Digipen Institute. And the article "Battle Royale," paired TV celebrity Will Estes (27) with Teen People reader Nicolle Razivil (15) to play and review three recent console games.

With an audience of over six million young women, that's a strong message in the right direction. To send kudos or request more such coverage, visit the Contact Us link at the bottom of teenpeople.com.
