Hosted by the IGDA Game Accessibility SIG, #GAConf is a day of talks and networking exploring recent and future advancements in the field of game accessibility. Updates, case studies, and in-depth guides.

Covering a wide range of topics, such as AAA and indie case studies, the Xbox adaptive controller, games as occupational therapy, accessible player experience design patterns, and the varying perspectives of low vision and legally blind gamers.

Develop better video games using player data and player psychology. #gamesUR is a day-long event of knowledge-sharing for video game professionals leveraging games user research: user testing, game analytics, and user experience (UX) processes.

Returning for our tenth year in the United States, the #gamesUR conference will host 200+ professionals at the forefront of player-centric game development.

The IGDA is excited to bring the IGDA Mentor Café back to GDC 2019 to kick of year four of the program. IGDA Mentor Cafés are designed to provide bursts of meaningful learning and each one is as unique as its participants. IGDA Mentor Cafés are open to anyone in the game development community seeking mentorship regardless of years of experience. Topics range from advancing your career, indie studio start-up, diversity initiatives, and much more.

The IGDA Mentor Café will take place on Thursday, 21 March from 7-9:30PM.
Applications and signups will close on Thursday, 14 March.

The International Game Developers Association's Board of Directors and Executive Director provides developers with a summary of the association's progress over the past year, as well as an overview of what's in store for 2019. There will also be a Q&A period to get feedback and input from the community and a chance to meet the new board members. The IGDA is a non-profit professional association committed to advancing the careers and enhancing the lives of game developers worldwide.

Don't miss this critical membership meeting and overview of the organization's past year and its future! Any interested individual is encouraged to attend, you don't need to be an IGDA member.

NOTE: Lunch will not be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own.
